A Great Example of Marketing “Spin”

Marketing is a powerful tool used to influence the public. In this “re-cut” version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the tone and concept of the actual movie has been redirected to make someone who has never seen the film think it’s about something else.

When you apply these tactics to pharmaceutical drug advertising, you can see how easy it is to encourage the public to perceive the meds as being perfectly safe.
