If there was ever any doubt, this video serves as proof for parents that you are role models for your kids. The way you eat, drink, smoke, and exercise (or not exercise), gives your children a blueprint for their life.
This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, “It runs in the family.” For those of you who’ve ever used this logic, you’re probably right… Health problems often do run in your family, but not because of your genetic makeup… Instead, it’s because you’ve mimicked so many of the same bad habits as your parents and grandparents.
Remember: Monkey see, monkey do.

So true, Dr. Tanase. People want to know why we have a health care crisis. They like to blame the evil insurance companies and the greedy pharmaceutical companies. And although they may contribute as enablers, they would cease to be a factor if we didn’t create a market for their wares. We need only to find a mirror to identify the cause of our troubles.
“We have met the enemy, and it is us.”
Wow. Not sure what else to say other that. There have been a few times when our oldest daughter imitates someone smoking that she saw at a park or something and my wife and I come down on her hard just for that. If she ever actually DID smoke…? It might not be very pretty. 😉
Please tell me that video is not real. 😦 I am sick to my stomach!
Well, I was always threatened that if I started smoking, my parents would make me eat a whole pack of cigarettes. I never smoked because of that.
